✍️ When I was a kid, there was a great book, one of many as I always enjoyed reading very much, called James and the Giant Peach, by Roald Dahl.
🍑 It was a fantastic book, about a young boy named James, an orphan, who is given a magical potion by a mysterious old man, which causes a peach tree to grow a gigantic peach. James enters the peach and befriends a group of talking insects, including a centipede, a spider, and a ladybug. They escape their lives by cutting the peach loose, and traveling across the ocean to start new lives. The story explores themes of courage, friendship, and the importance of family.
🍷 In each and every grape, you can find a whole captivating, mesmerizing world … each and every grape has all that is needed to make a beautiful wine … the juice has fermentable sugars and acidity, and the skins have color, flavor, texture, tannins. There is potential magic in every grape!
🍇 Everything you need to make a world class wine is inside each and every grape. It’s just that you need a lot of grapes to actually make wine!
🌎 I suppose if there was a giant grape, like James’ giant peach, I would be eager to go inside it, and experience all the fantastic adventures inside that wonderful, magical world of a giant grape.
🍷 Although, in many ways, I suppose that’s what I’ve already been doing, metaphorically, my whole life …
