🍇 The Knollwood Vineyard was established in 1985 in the Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley. Located on Big Ranch Road in the southern, cooler end of the valley, this vineyard has grown a diverse range of varietals over its forty year history … Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon.

🚜 The Knollwood Vineyard winegrowing and winemaking operations are overseen by brothers Kevin Corley, Winegrower and Chris Corley, Winemaker.

🍷 The Knollwood Vineyard grapes have been sold to many highly esteemed wineries over the years, and have been core contributors to many wonderful blends, and single vineyard, bottlings over the span of four decades.

🍷 [Cabernet Sauvignon] A single vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon bottling from 2018, garnered a 92 point rating from James Suckling, and is tasting absolutely terrific right now … deep, dark, robust, yet still balanced with a nice beam of acidity on the mid-palate. [92 pts]

🍷 [Cabernet Franc] We pulled a 100% Cabernet Franc produced from the The Knollwood Vineyard out of the library. 2013 was a wonderful vintage … at 12 years, this wine is magnificent. 100% Cabernet Franc, Clone 327, magnificent ripeness, black, spicy fruit and resolved tannins.

🍇 Currently, we’re growing Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah on the vineyard, with our Merlot blocks in replanting phase.

⏳ We’ve grown some really great grapes, and made some wonderful wines at The Knollwood Vineyard over the last forty years, and are looking forward to charting new and exciting winegrowing and winemaking paths for grapes and wines!
