S54 E1 | Why We Do What We Do

📸 A good, longtime friend sent me two wonderful photos of a dinner they celebrated over the holidays. It was their son’s 21st birthday dinner.

🏫 Alec and Jackson have been friends since preschool, and as they do, the children’s friendships extend to the families, and we’ve been happy to have enjoyed Mike and Claire’s friendship for the last 18 years and counting.

🎓 When Alec graduated from high school, we gave a gift of his birthyear vintage wine, a CORLEY Proprietary Red Wine from 2003, a nice vintage. 

🍴 We were thrilled when Mike shared with us that they saved the wine, and enjoyed it for Alec’s 21st birthday dinner!

🙏 Having our handcrafted wines grace the tables of special events like this, especially of dear friends, is one of the most satisfying aspects of a life spent making wine.

🍷 Fundamentally, this is what it is really about … making wines that enhance people’s lives.
